@mansr Yes: If I want to measure temperatures around 300K accurately to 1mK, I need to be able to measure voltages of 10µV accurately to 1.6ppm.
I am not sure a measurement system exists that can accomplish this, safe for a Josephson Junction. But these tend to be kind of expensive.
